Who we are
Nordica Stock Sync is a Shopify app made by Variegata Nordica (Mallory Berthomé) that keeps an Etsy shop and a Shopify store in step. Questions about this policy or your data: mallory.berthome@gmail.com.
What the app stores
- Your store’s address and Shopify access, so the app can open in your Shopify admin.
- Your Etsy connection: your Etsy user and shop number, shop name and currency, and an encrypted access token that lets the app read your listings and change their stock, prices and texts (Etsy permissions
listings_r,listings_w,shops_r). - Links between listings and products: Etsy listing and variation numbers, Shopify product and variant numbers, titles, SKUs, and the stock and price each side had at the last sync.
- A log of what the app changed, in plain words, kept 30 days.
- Messages you send with “Contact support” or “Suggest an improvement”, and the email address if you add one.
- Technical error reports: your store’s address, the page and the error, so problems can be fixed.
The app never reads Etsy receipts, transactions or buyers, nor Shopify orders or customers: no shopper data reaches us.
What the app changes
Only what you switch on, after you’ve seen a preview and pressed Start syncing: the stock of linked products on both sides, and, if you choose, prices, titles, descriptions and photos copied from the side you made “the boss”. It never creates, deletes, renews or reactivates an Etsy listing. Importing creates Shopify products as drafts, only when you press Import.
Who processes the data
Cloudflare hosts the app and its database. Shopify and Etsy provide the store data; Shopify handles billing. Nothing is sold or shared for advertising.
How long it is kept
Log lines: 30 days. Disconnecting Etsy deletes the Etsy access token at once. When you uninstall the app, your sign-in data and the Etsy token are deleted at once; links are kept until Shopify asks for them to be erased, 48 hours after uninstalling, then everything is deleted.
