Support
I’m Mallory, and I build and support Nordica Stock Sync myself. Email mallory.berthome@gmail.com or use “Contact support” in the app. I personally reply within 24 hours. Suggestions are welcome too.
Common questions
What happens when something sells on both sides at once?
Both sales count. The app remembers the stock each side had at the last sync and adds up what changed on each side since, instead of copying one number over the other. If both sold the very last one, stock stays at 0 and the log tells you to check your orders.
What does “the boss” mean?
The side whose prices (and, if you switch it on, titles, descriptions and photos) are copied to the other. Stock has no boss: sales and restocks on either side count.
How often does it sync?
Shopify tells the app the moment stock changes, and Pro sends it to Etsy within a minute. Etsy has no such signal, so the app checks your Etsy listings: every 30 minutes on Pro, every hour on Free (big shops a little less often, to stay inside Etsy’s limits). “Check now” on the Sync screen checks at once.
Will it cost me Etsy fees?
No. The app never creates, renews, reactivates or deletes a listing. When a sold-out Etsy listing is back in stock on Shopify, the log asks you to restock it on Etsy yourself, because Etsy charges a renewal for that.
How are products matched?
Products with the same SKU on both sides (per variation) link on their own. For the rest the app suggests pairs by title, and you link them with one click, or by hand. On Plus you can import Etsy listings as new Shopify products.
Can I try it without anything changing?
Yes, that’s how it starts. Preview mode reads both shops and lists what the first sync would do. Nothing changes until you press Start syncing. You can pause at any time, and big changes (more than 20 products, or a stock jump of more than 50) wait for you to press Apply.
